Continuous rain a blessing- –
no words from heaven
to moisten dry spaces
where my love and herbs
                                 wont grow.
A word barrel full of rain
never has much to say.

I need
to stroll through
the peaceful
mountain
valley
of you- –
gather up
a few smiles- –
flowers of thought- –
energy electric- –
I want to
linger
in your light- –
bright heart- –
dance
in the shower
of rushing
falling love
spilling
blue-gold droplets
of serenity
over me- –
I could sleep
there
in your magic.

Man,
you lure me
into
the mystery
of you.

Come- –
stroll with me- –
in all directions
love grows- –
without condition.

white linens billow
against a green
backdrop
flowers bounce
swaying- –
their upturned faces
bright paint splotches
glowing in golden sun- –
children smile
in shades of melon
and sun fire red
glowing
through blue
water- –

Summer smiles
through the sorrow
in your eyes- –
searching for
your own piece
of peace within,
without speaking
your wishes or wants
coming in
and stepping out
of loss- -summer
isn’t really cold- –
hold on to that

I’ll give you
moonlight  blue butterflies
and okra blossom kisses- –
little summer blessing smiles- –
dawning a new fire
to sparkle your eyes- –
patchwork pieces
of peace for you
in the shifting
of long days
running
through summer
searching.

honeyed- –
golden morning
dancing rainbows
tiny clowns laugh
radiant- –
warm, bright
little blessings

joyous love

English: A live Sand dollar, species Mellita quinquiesperforata (Leske, 1778), at low tide on the beach at Playa Grande on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica 23. February 2005 Sand dollars are flat sea urchins. When you find sand dollars on a beach, the white ones are the old empty shells or tests, having died, lost their covering of velvety spines and having been bleached white by the sun. The live ones are dark and completely covered in very small spines (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Subconscious meanderings- –
sleep’s misty embrace displayed
in fanciful velvet wrapping.
Thought burst rivulets
of emotion flashed
in dream scene electric
light play- -a pleasure
junket in the night.
My direct flight to you
bathed in silver moonlight
strolling some remote beach,
inky waves lapping
white sand over your feet- –
skipping sand dollars
across my heart.

Please don’t wake me
before sun’s fire rises
over my subconscious.

Electric Blue Phalaenopsis Orchid

Cool emergence- –
intense dense gray
drapery brushes
against an earthy canvas,
blocking sun’s
impatient burning- –
no blue to cue
an artist’s dreams.
Earth settles
in thick folds
for a stirring
caress- -rain’s
silver hue pooling
in parched hollows.
This spring awakening
I’ve emerged entranced- –
stark contrasts lure me.
I unfurl my
blue orchid petals- –
inspiration for you.
I am open- -eager
to stir spring’s colors
deep within you,
sharing the pattering
rain- -a trickling
infusion
of wild orchid
in full bloom.

I want to feel
cool rain
tingling
down
my spine
mingling
with skin
and summer sun- –
feel it
splashing there
where your hand
should rest,
there where
your lips
could find me- –
bind me
up inside- -out,
testing my will.

Open wide
the rainbow curtain- –
curve your light
on me
fill my heart
with summer
love colors.
