cool mountain rain
sweet grass and pine scented
puddles mirror the sky- –
dancing in your eyes
sun lingers
in all the right places
breeze stirred surfaces
reminiscent of love

you’ve always had me
this way
a dancing rain
comfortable- -soft droplets
against your skin
ready to linger
in all the right places

Collecting thoughts- –
pretty rocks
to fill my pockets- –
dreams kept
for long nights running
backward in slow motion
waiting for you to find
me between the lines.

Icy night wind mourns
the summer still locked
away deep in my heart- –
where sea spray comes
dancing amid the gulls
and your shining smile- –
a bright sun warming
my toes in the sand.

I can’t stand waiting
for so long
between sunshine kisses.
Collecting thoughts- –
pretty rocks- -to keep you
in my pocket- -safe,
a cold night’s dream
while mourning summer.

light as dew
honey drips- –
sun is laughing,
singing on your hair

Your eyes are the sky
– -and you,
the universe
cradling me- –
safe, soft, sweet
you complete me

I would give all to you
continually- -never empty
you replenish me
with your unfaltering love,
filling the vessel of my soul
with fruits of heart

Around us- -here
meadow life surges
energy electric- -magnetic,
a dulcet symphony- -breathless
love- -springs flow from Earth
for us- -sun is laughing.

hot sun laughs on water
jeweled sparks dance in your eyes
eagle soars above

Shadows move
across the clouds
in circles,
patterns of them
like saplings
in the wind,
wings of them
arc toward the sun.
– -Soaring,
a heaven
unknown to man.

Except of coarse,
those of us
move among the clouds,
free falling
                   – -but not.
We spread our wings
toward the wind
by some splintered fragment
of Spirit given knowledge
implanted seed-like
in our souls- –
experience the hawk,
raven, eagle, falcon
and their song of flight
burning deep within.
