Dancing Rainbows

 

 

honeyed- –
golden morning
dancing rainbows
tiny clowns laugh
radiant- –
warm, bright
little blessings
– -hummingbird love- –

joyous love
                    my heart
                                    glows

Moth in moonlight- –
I’m drawn to you
this way
your eyes hold me
captive- -feeling
spellbound
you move through me
in a single sigh
we mingle- -meld
melt in silence
I want to curl up
with you on spring
green pillows- -purr,
content to be
captive and captivating
content to be
warm with you
let me curl up
and captivate you
in spring’s greening.

A Spring Brainstorm

chickadees- –
all black caps
and smiles
darting, fluttering
the way love does
trees laugh
my heart soars
feathers
paint the sky

I’m all jasmine
and rain drops
kissing- -warm
my heart

Simple Things

Ever so gradually
full light returns
in flaming arrows- –
my heart excited,
begins to blossom
early for spring’s
glorious awakening.

Glitter- -golden
reds and blues- -blues,
sparks ignite
the simple things.
Snow settles
the awakening,
a letting down- –
                 falling down
freezing my early petals.
Sorrow
for the simple things
waiting- -anticipating
brighter days.  Perhaps
tomorrow will stay
a gentle while.  My heart
finds comfort in a fire,
hot chocolate and love.

Still waiting- –
stillness
in the simple things.
