Bristlecone pine
atop granite spire- –
my perch
all thought
beyond this
a blur

I listen
to all things
natural
view things- -eyes closed
I feel them
filling me up
senses saturated
with tranquil light
smell, touch, sound- -wisdom
has no bounds
spoken in silences
deeper
louder
than any
cloud burst
can sing
I open wide
my being

Petals

A Bee orchid has evolved over many generations...

A bad day
lasted
a thousand years.
In the dying
of a flower I cried
for the petals- –
dust.- -Just like the one
single breath you pocketed
in the failing light.
Now you know
even shadows bleed
over dying flowers.
Ghosts stir endlessly
waiting for spring
– -its re-birthing, an
unconditional thing.
What’s one breath,
but air.  Shadows
move even in failing
light- -a ballet, night
drifts on silent wings
while embers spark
the sky.  I remain- –
all petals on stone
letting go
                 a sigh.

Oh, to know you like this- –
unbridled emotions ebbing,
flowing, rising, falling
in both the shallows and reaches
of your being
salt kissed waves curling over me,
touching- -caressing my body

I will row into your forever horizon
– -dive in, letting go of it all
– -body surf your soul’s infinite dreams
– -a dolphin endlessly playing
in the vast expanse of your heart
endlessly content
in the sunset fire of your eyes
glimmering- –
on this ocean of emotion
                                                you are- –
