Universal Motion

 

Universe in motion
energy flows- -Earth flows
constantly in spiral.
Clouds flow electric
energy bends branches
in waves of wind- –
rainbows the sky.
Universe in motion- –
constant humanity,
love energy never dies.
Life in motion- –
seeds driven by song,
rain given promises
carry us along- –
cleansing, purifying.
Moon forced tides roll out,
rising, swelling- -crashing,
a constant pull and push- –
together- -apart,
we’re all a part.

                      My heart flows
                      a river of emotion
                      and motion- -yet,
                      calm- -motionless
                      I listen,
                      surfing vibrations- –
                      clinging only to Earth
                      and her nature of motion
                      in motion.
                      Universal Energy
                      in constant ceremony- –
                      a dreaming,
                      drumming, singing
                      with my ancestors- –
                      sage smoke curling upward- –
                      prayer ceremony.
                      Eternally grateful,
                      I dance
                      to life’s music
                      in universal motion.

A Winter Storm

Silence- -Singing.

Standing
silent- -contemplative,
I watch silver stars
                                fall
from the sky, composing
purple and blue
tremolo waves
on trees- -pine, fir,
brittle boned aspen
against her breast.
How I love Earth
dressed like this- -serenity
sequins in color- -singing.
Though darkening,
silver light wraps her
illuminating a twilight sleep.
Her dreams
cradle me gently
in deep blue tranquillity.
For a violet while
I almost found myself
again- -there
in the sanctuary
of a perfect winter storm.

Awakening

Glowing mist shrouds slivered moon,
red- -morning light pierces the horizon- –
minus fifteen degrees- –
complete silence.
Wandering night shadows
slip away,
ice ornaments glisten- –
nature crisp and clean- -embraces
my senses- -electric.
I listen and cling to every particle
– -miracles. 
Sage smoke offered inward,
upward- -outward,
I give thanks.
Earth’s eternal love
never sleeps,
unmasked in the dawning
she feeds my soul.
Bird’s wing flutter stirs
snow from branches,
even whispered echoes ripple- –
 action and reaction in motion
turning, churning- –
learning my way back
through ancestral dreams.
It’s an unconditional thing,
nature’s awakening
in this new year.

Simple Things

Ever so gradually
full light returns
in flaming arrows- –
my heart excited,
begins to blossom
early for spring’s
glorious awakening.

Glitter- -golden
reds and blues- -blues,
sparks ignite
the simple things.
Snow settles
the awakening,
a letting down- –
                 falling down
freezing my early petals.
Sorrow
for the simple things
waiting- -anticipating
brighter days.  Perhaps
tomorrow will stay
a gentle while.  My heart
finds comfort in a fire,
hot chocolate and love.

Still waiting- –
stillness
in the simple things.

Sweetly Dreaming

Sleep- -a delicate flower
wins the night- -morning’s
light peers violet-blue,
skyline bursting.
Cold- -reality stings the senses.

My Bike.

Breaking the rising and falling
of your chest, your moving
stirs me- -a cold place
where you were.  Bitter
wind’s rush unsettles
branches scraping- -clawing.
Purring cat curls in,
your pillow warms again
assuring sleep once more.
Snow’s drifting waves
send me spinning- –
inward dreaming.

Columbine.

Mountain flowers caress
Earth in fancy dress- -sighs.
Sleep- -blessed sleep,
I’m falling into the
warm pool of you
– -arms wide and waiting.
Harmony- –
                 birdsong calling.

Surrender

“This one is an experiment, I was just letting my mind free fall in the wind.”

Man surrender- -heated emotion’s
flash of lightning fire sparks
your eyes- -whispering secrets
you hide away- -I’ve never seen
a heart so guarded- -the locks have locks
bitter combinations and keys
swallowed with water
even Earth gives up treasure
now and then- -surrender the flame
it grows wild- -surrender

Tender fruit withers quickly- -a
delicacy should be reveled in
surrender- -share the fire- -gently
I’ll warm my heart in you
surrender- – savor sweet kisses

Gentle Drifting

Spring Blizzard 2003, 8' 3" of Snow Before It Ended.

 

Drifting
the way snow does
over Earth’s bones, trees
– -vast ocean
crystalline emotion.
Cornices curl
with the wind-blown night- –
stormy seas of unflawed white.
Love is like this drifting.
Wafting feathers- –
my love drifts
crystalline emotion
over you- -against you,
into the vast expanse
of your star bright heart- –
drifting- -drifting back,
returning love to me.

It’s all a gentle drifting- –
love and winter.
