I need
to stroll through
the peaceful
mountain
valley
of you- –
gather up
a few smiles- –
flowers of thought- –
energy electric- –
I want to
linger
in your light- –
bright heart- –
dance
in the shower
of rushing
falling love
spilling
blue-gold droplets
of serenity
over me- –
I could sleep
there
in your magic.

Man,
you lure me
into
the mystery
of you.

Come- –
stroll with me- –
in all directions
love grows- –
without condition.

humid- -sleepless
giant moon
on cottonwood
leaves flicker- –
crickets chirrup

entwined
on mossy banks
we sip kisses
purple flowers nod- –
acquiescent

lazy river drifts
stars shift
chasing moon
time grows weary
reaching
for our hearts- –
                             too busy
                             spending time

English: A live Sand dollar, species Mellita quinquiesperforata (Leske, 1778), at low tide on the beach at Playa Grande on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica 23. February 2005 Sand dollars are flat sea urchins. When you find sand dollars on a beach, the white ones are the old empty shells or tests, having died, lost their covering of velvety spines and having been bleached white by the sun. The live ones are dark and completely covered in very small spines (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Subconscious meanderings- –
sleep’s misty embrace displayed
in fanciful velvet wrapping.
Thought burst rivulets
of emotion flashed
in dream scene electric
light play- -a pleasure
junket in the night.
My direct flight to you
bathed in silver moonlight
strolling some remote beach,
inky waves lapping
white sand over your feet- –
skipping sand dollars
across my heart.

Please don’t wake me
before sun’s fire rises
over my subconscious.

cool mountain rain
sweet grass and pine scented
puddles mirror the sky- –
dancing in your eyes
resplendent
sun lingers
in all the right places
breeze stirred surfaces
reminiscent of love

love
you’ve always had me
this way
a dancing rain
comfortable- -soft droplets
against your skin
glistening
ready to linger
in all the right places

Moth in moonlight- –
I’m drawn to you
this way
your eyes hold me
captive- -feeling
spellbound
you move through me
in a single sigh
we mingle- -meld
melt in silence
I want to curl up
with you on spring
green pillows- -purr,
content to be
captive and captivating
content to be
warm with you
let me curl up
and captivate you
in spring’s greening.

(Thank you for being my muse once in a while.)

I want to feel
cool rain
tingling
down
my spine
mingling
with skin
and summer sun- –
feel it
splashing there
where your hand
should rest,
there where
your lips
could find me- –
bind me
up inside- -out,
testing my will.

Open wide
the rainbow curtain- –
curve your light
on me
fill my heart
with summer
love colors.

Water falls
blue- –
your
eyes
spill
splash
my careening heart
still needs you
wild
love- –
washing
through
my soul- –
wish you were here
in this falling
all over me again.
