I was trying not to laugh. My sister is a two legged hazard, just like me. She was backing up onto the highway while trying to take the picture.
I honestly do believe in unconditional love, trying to send positive energy into the universe, and all of nature as well as the nature of all things. I love cowboys, horses and all other animals, family, laughter, sunshine, camping, backpacking, fishing, moonlight, old castles like Ashby-de-la-Zuch, my ancestors on both sides of the pond, gazing at the stars, crackling fires and roasting marshmallows, listening to the rain, pretty much all music, the arts and sciences, long walks on the beach, sunrises and sunsets, and watching spooky movies with my man. I love men in three-piece suits, cowboy duds, and uniforms. No this is NOT an invitation. I am stating the type of men I like, that’s all.
I absolutely love the three “C’s”; caffeine, chocolate (preferably dark) and cream (whipped, frozen, churned, sour, and even powdered.) I enjoy a tiny bit of popcorn with my butter, apple pie, pumpkin pie, for that matter any pie, cake or cookie, and fast food. I believe in McDonald’s and their Happy Meal with toys inside. I believe in Cracker Jacks with real toys inside and more peanuts. I think the more things containing bacon grease the better, including red meat and veggies.
I was, and still am at heart, that goofy girl down the road who made a point of picking flowers and tried giving them to total strangers on the street. At times it went over great, then other times not so much. That was just fine though, atleast I tried. I believe in the saying, “live and let live.”
I am a firm believer in mankind, love, men who wear their hearts on their sleeve, and any man who dares to ask, “Honey, is it a brownie day, or a Midol day?” If they have the guts to do that, they are not cowards.
With all my heart, I believe in God, angels and heaven, and in all true heroes, such as Soldiers, Firefighters and Law Enforcement. I love the good OLD United States of America, the Pledge of allegiance, and in “living hard to die free.“ I make that statement simply because my parents really had it rough and worked darn hard to raise 9 kids. They grew up during the Great Depression when no one had anything and everyone had it hard. I also have to include the late Steve McQueen, anyone who is an incurable smart ass while still keeping kindness in their hearts, like the two great “D’s”, Denis Leary and Dennis Miller.
I truly think neutering is an excellent idea. Afterall the guy next door no longer chases my car down the street. Although, he does still pee on my tires.
I have a strong belief in the paranormal. Yes, I do believe in ghosts. How else did all those shoes wind up in my closet?
I think K.Y. is a lubricant for squeaky doors, rusty latches, hand cuffs and tight shoes. I also think it is very important to allow your eyes to adjust to the darkness before you run toward the trees. I love the 1967 Ford Mustang, the 1967 Chevy Camaro and OLD monster trucks. I like the idea of pimping my ride. How else would anyone know K.Y. is an excellent lubricant for handcuffs?
Some of my favorite bands and musicians are the Beatles, Hinder, R. Carlos Nakai, Godsmack, Willie Nelson, AFI, Everlast, the Troggs, Mazzy Star, Eric Burdon, Nickelback, Hank Williams Senior, Leona Lewis (Bleeding Love), Nine Inch Nails, Eric Clapton, Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi, Lita Ford, the FIXX, Sarah Mclachlan, Collective Soul, the Clash, The Wallflowers, Michael Fronte and Spearhead, John Trudell, Cowboy Junkies, Chis Isaak, Johnny Cash, Finger Eleven, The Fray, Lenny Kravitz, there are so many more I could go on forever, but for your sake I won’t.
As far as my favorite instruments go I love, deep drums and base guitar, flute, saxophone, fiddle, bagpipes and banjo.
My favorite actors include Steve McQeen, Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman, Gerard Butler, Antonio Banderas, Hugh Jackman, Dwayne Johnson, and Kate Beckinsale in that order.
Some of my favorite movies include Bram Stoker’s Dracula (a great love story) the entire Underworld series of movies, Ghost Rider, Reign of fire, The Changeling, all of the Predator movies, Signs, Last of the Mohicans, Dances With Wolves, Braveheart and again, so many more.
I like only a few television shows and I am sure you are relieved about that. I like Ghost Hunters International, Gost Hunters, Bones, Fringe and Supernatural.
My most favorite reads and writes are poetry and spooky fiction.
For non-fiction I love reading up on different cultures and societies such as Celtic and the like. I also love geology, gemology, herbology, aromatherapy, survival and edible wild plants.
I relish being a contrary person as often as possible and my life is something akin to organized chaos with a slight hint of harmony now and then.

Thank you for stopping by and following wordifull.com. I truly appreciate your kind words and all comments are always welcomed and encouraged! Your about me section is one of the most extensive I’ve seen…thanks for sharing so much of yourself. You’ve gained a follower as well.
Thank you once again. I tossed it together, a bit of brainstorming really. You are a rose in a garden of thorns, new friend.
I am glad you stopped by my blog and left bread crumbs to yours. You sound like you are a lot of fun. I will be back! hugs, pat
Well thank you very much, Pat. I am really happy you stopped by. I will wait anxiously for your return.
Hi Suzie
Sorry for the late response. I didn’t realize you had replied. And to answer your question I think people who don’t appreciate nature are those types who only care about fancy cars, big houses, trips to luxurious and exotic destinations. I think everything in life is interconnected so the unappreciative types could very well be those that have issues with control–they may see the big picture but miss out on life’s other pleasures.
And yeah castles are just so enchanting and magical. Have you been to many of them before? I haven’t, but the one in Harry Potter really intrigues me.
It is so good to know someone with a proper perspective! The castle in Harry Potter is a great one, I agree. There is a castle not too far from where I live. I forget the name of it. I’ve never seen it except from a distance. It seems really interesting and beautiful though. I would love to travel to the UK and just spend a month visiting castles. Blessings to you.
Yeah I love the grand dining hall in Harry Potter. Definitely looks like a place I could plop down on and feast at for hours on end:) Aww I’m so jealous you live near a castle! And you’re in America? I keep thinking all the castles are in Europe.
I hear that. I’m thinking the name of the castle near here is Harlan Castle. I cannot imagine that it could ever hold a candle to any of those grand old castles in Europe.
I like your about section–nature lovers seem to appreciate the kind of things others miss. And I’m also fascinated with castles, such enchanting places.
Hey! It is so good to hear from you again. I’ve been wondering, do you suppose people who do not have an appreciation for and understanding of nature are those people that have a hard time being to controling and don’t have a sense of what unconditional love is all about? Maybe I spend too much time trying to understand why some people are the way they are! It’s really wonderful to know someone else who is also fascinated with castles. Light and have a really sweet weekend.
