Needing you,
I see how easy
loving you would be.
I keep you
at arm’s length,
close enough to touch- –
yet making you
untouchable,
fearing losing myself
in you- -a shadow lingering
in the periphery
of your psyche.
You see
some memories
only last so long
before becoming ghosts- –
echoes fade.

Before you forget,
remember
I’m craving you- –
craving me.
Take me into you,
a luscious fruit
for your slow
devouring- –
delectable dessert
destined to warm you
inside.  Take me in,
I’ll be a forever echo- –
                                        LOVE.

Blue morning- –
chilled
silence
             falls
feathering
dreams
against
satin sheets

Stirring
my heart
beats
for you,
time slips- –
the fade
comes on
quickly

Silver shadow- –
you drift
                 away
love stays- –
the warm
dawning,
I’m ready
to begin again- –
                           sweetly

I’ll let you
swim the river
of my soul- –
sunbathe in
the calm of me
just to be
your secret
hideaway- –

I’ll hike
your heart
seeking
the meadow,
swollen- –
ripe with color,
honey drenched
and ready
for my dreaming

I’ll meet you later
at the headwater
for hugs
and wild berry
                 kisses

Angels flutter their lashes- –
butterfly wings brush gently,
my skin tingles.  So electric,
your touch arcs light
across my sky.

We kiss like this heaven- –
our heaven in each kiss,
as two angels collide.

Your warm
summer rain love
washes over me.  So clearly
I see your heart from here- –
feel the beat
your soul dances to.
All the while
I’m captured by
the crystalline structure
of the eyes you see
through me with.
We connect
in the green-gold
light of you- -painting
love shadows on the wall.

Angels flutter their
butterfly lashes
down the hall.
My skin tingles- -your touch
arcs light across my sky.
we kiss like this heaven
as two angels collide.

Not Written

So red,
your voice broke
against my heart- –
slipping my soul
ripping
purple
twilight
dreams
shredding
the sheets
of hope

a love note

The love of my life

The love of my life (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Snakes shed- –
a shifting
from one phase
to another.
Winter lets go
giving up its
blankets to
spring’s bursting- –
new life pulsating.
Color storms
our senses- –
we begin again.
Metamorphosis- –
butterfly magic
works in stages.
                I let go- –
                old lovers
                for new.
                It’s hard
                sometimes,
                letting go of
                borrowed
                treasures,
                one age for
                another- -size
                for another- -love,
                for another love.
                Life changes,
                exchanges energies- –
                renewal is
                light over darkness.
                                Endings
                                never- -never
                                really end.
                                Don’t give up,
                                listen- -my heart
                                purrs for you.
                                Hold on to me,
                                see I’m already yours.
                                Focus,
                                breathe,
                                now let go- –
                                it’s just the
                                beginning.
                                We’ve barely
                                scratched the
                                surface together- -LOVE.
