Your Eyes.

 

Sunshine on my
grocery list,
a wish for change- -ultimately
must come from within

I begin the steps
erasing my list
and set about
starting again

Your ink blot eyes
wink up at me- –
feathered blotches
resembling love

An easy answer, love
warming- -exciting, inviting
your eyes always
make the sun shine

I should remember that
for emergencies.
