Wild Flowers in Sister's Grove.

Hay scent
wild flowers
freshly mown grass
rose blossoms- –
                            and rain
summer perfumes wind
– -dances with sunlight
glinting golden your skin
your eyes, taking in the world- –
the wilderness

I love Rocky Mountain summers
especially here in your arms
where summer grows forever- –
I’ll always find it
playing in your eyes
even when heavy rain
comes flooding the blossoms

If I could have
captured your breath
– -just one- –
in the cup of my hands,
it might have formed
a rare crystal
to wear around
my neck for luck.

Then I would still
have a part of you
– -if only one breath.

Atoms unite- -fusion
of elements and Earth.
Nature’s birth
a vivid blossoming
roars infinite–in echoes
bending- -bellowing,
eternal meandering.
Rushing, fertility flows- –
Woman glows,
Man grows- –
cerebral electricity shows
survivalist ingenuity.
Friction- -two sticks
– -two stones,
sparks ignite, flames
burn- -bright warmth.
Great Spirit’s gifts
unite humanity,
profound luminosity
of hearts- -souls melding.
You and I- -us and them- –
life’s love in continuation,
we listen to Earth’s Symphony.

To all my new friends, a quick note.

I want to say how sorry I am that I have been unable to get on line and read you fabulous work. Hopefully the monsoons will stay away longer tomorrow. I’ve been having to unplug the DSL modem due to lightening. It gets very bad up here in the mountains. My best friend, my Timberwolf/Akita passed away unexpectedly over the weekend. I will be back with plenty to write about, perhaps tomorrow. Light and Many Blessings, Suzie.
