Summer Love

I want to feel
cool rain
tingling
down
my spine
mingling
with skin
and summer sun- -
feel it
splashing there
where your hand
should rest,
there where
your lips
could find me- -
bind me
up inside- -out,
testing my will.

Open wide
the rainbow curtain- -
curve your light
on me
fill my heart
with summer
love colors.

Where We Go Next

 
We follow a trail
long since tangled
in fisted weeds.
Walking back
through pages- -places
other lifetimes
have taken us
leaves thorns
in my thies- -
let me show you.

The back story
leads to now- -
knowing how we got here
is not important,
it’s where we go next.

Darling,
your eyes speak
volumes- -I live
for a great
toe curling read.
Eager
for a luscious ending,
I’ll wait to see
where we go next- -
passion-flower seeds
sprouting my hair.

so softly
a faint breath
goes in the night

escaped me
with his passing

his fading light
left a momentary
wisp on the sill

flowers still
bloom my heart

light

endings- -begin

my soul
continues
the dance

Craving

Needing you,
I see how easy
loving you would be.
I keep you
at arm’s length,
close enough to touch- -
yet making you
untouchable,
fearing losing myself
in you- -a shadow lingering
in the periphery
of your psyche.
You see
some memories
only last so long
before becoming ghosts- -
echoes fade.

Before you forget,
remember
I’m craving you- -
craving me.
Take me into you,
a luscious fruit
for your slow
devouring- -
delectable dessert
destined to warm you
inside.  Take me in,
I’ll be a forever echo- -
                                        LOVE.

Dream Fades

Blue morning- -
chilled
silence
             falls
feathering
dreams
against
satin sheets

Stirring
my heart
beats
for you,
time slips- -
the fade
comes on
quickly

Silver shadow- -
you drift
                 away
love stays- -
the warm
dawning,
I’m ready
to begin again- -
                           sweetly

Kiss Like This Heaven

 

Angels flutter their lashes- -
butterfly wings brush gently,
my skin tingles.  So electric,
your touch arcs light
across my sky.

We kiss like this heaven- -
our heaven in each kiss,
as two angels collide.

Your warm
summer rain love
washes over me.  So clearly
I see your heart from here- -
feel the beat
your soul dances to.
All the while
I’m captured by
the crystalline structure
of the eyes you see
through me with.
We connect
in the green-gold
light of you- -painting
love shadows on the wall.

Angels flutter their
butterfly lashes
down the hall.
My skin tingles- -your touch
arcs light across my sky.
we kiss like this heaven
as two angels collide.
